Ingredients for Chicken Manchurian:
- 500g boneless chicken cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

For the sauce:
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 capsicum, finely chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water
- Salt to taste
For Egg Fried Rice:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 capsicum, chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the chicken pieces, cornflour, all-purpose flour, egg, ginger garlic paste, and salt to taste. Mix well until the chicken is coated with the batter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken pieces and fry until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little oil and sauté the onion, capsicum, and green chilies until they are soft.
- Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, and salt to taste. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the cornflour mixed with water and stir well until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce and mix well until the chicken is coated with the sauce.
- For the egg fried rice, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
- Add the chopped capsicum and sauté for a few minutes.
- Beat an egg in a separate bowl and add it to the pan. Scramble the egg until it is fully cooked.
- Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix well. Add salt to taste.
- Serve the Chicken Manchurian hot with the egg fried rice.
